Lazise
Hotel Corte Valier is located in Lazise, a village on the Eastern coast of Lake Garda, just 24km from Verona. It takes its name from the Latin Lacus (lake) and is one of the oldest inhabited areas of the region.
As proof of its temperament and desire to emerge, in 983 a.d. it received the title as the first Free Comune of Italy from the Holy Roman Emperor Otto II. On maps from the 10th century the old port and the Veneto customs were already present, showing the vitality of the village. However, the castle is the most important building with its walls that surround the historical centre to protect it from late medieval rampages.

In addition Lazise's strategical position, near to the main roads that connect Italy to Europe, make this small village easy to reach… making it an ideal location for your holidays!
